Unseen Battlemaster Repose

I know that I've been away from the blog for a while again, but I have been working on things. I had to prepare for a scenario for Ravencon this year, which was a city battle. So, a bunch of building construction and painting, as well as the 'mechs for the game. When I get a chance, I'll try to post particulars of that scenario, the forces, and pictures of the units.

Given the focus on unseens as of late, and the work for a Crusader that was reposed, I figured I'd try something for the Battlemaster. Below is a picture of the modified (left) and unmodified (right) miniatures. This one had the arms cut off and the torso cut from the legs. Repositioned the arms and put a slight turn for the torso, which makes it look a bit more dynamic. That said, the original pose is actually quite good, so hopefully just improved on a good thing. The hardest part was the shoulder joints which had to be filled in and sculpted to look right. Time will tell if this works out, but either way, good or bad, it'll get posted.

As is normal for these old miniatures, they get some serious wear sometimes. The miniature on the right, for example, took quite the drop on it's head. Not sure how I plan to deal with that one, but I'll think of something.
