Thunderbolt (Unseen), Free Worlds League, Marik Militia

This recent acquisition of an unseen Thunderbolt got me pretty excited. Let's face it: the unseen Thunderbolt is, well, "big and googly" as some in my circle of friend might say. Not attractive in the least. But, this one came to me via my BV Trader friends and is in very good condition, even with parts that were in perfect condition. Now, that good condition does help a lot, but, alas, the unseen Thunderbolt is still ugly.

But... I still like it. It's a miniature that I did not have for my unseen collection, so getting one is a big deal to me.

I'm still working on Marik Militia units, so added this one into the mix.

BV Traders did also get me another unseen Goliath, another unseen Scorpion (which is in rough shape... at least it's unpainted!), another unseen Wolverine, and lastly an unseen Rifleman. I do have a poorly sculpted reproduction of a Rifleman, which is a left over from my late friend John who purchased several of these "copies" by accident thinking they were new. But, this Rifleman is my first legitimate unseen for this miniature.

I guess with all these unseens lately, I'm feeling a bit nostalgic for the 3025, original 1980's Battletech game. I've been kicking around a 3030's era scenario using introductory rules only. Speaking of scenarios, I'll be in attendance to Guns of August, a local tabletop wargames convention. It's a Jade Falcon/Wolf scenario during the Refusal War, circa 3057. I'll post pictures of the two units when I get the chance.
