Unseen Crusader, Lyran Guard

Um, I'm not really quite sure how this one got started. I needed a Crusader (unseen) for a recent scenario I ran at Ravencon. But how I got from just painting an unseen to chopping it into little bits and rebuilding it is anyone's guess. Somehow, it wasn't exactly planned. Just seemed to organically morph into this major repose project. Hence, no "in progress" posts about this one.

Below you can see the reposed miniature (finished) next to the original appearance of the miniature. I chopped the legs from the body, then chopped each leg at the knee. Cut the legs from the base. Reshaped the right foot. Bent and reposed the arms. Put the legs back together and resculpted the knees. Built up the base with an "I" beam sticking out of the ground, with a chunk of concrete. Cleaned up some mold slippage. Oh... and then I painted it!
